Marketing Coordinator; Term Position

Salary Range: $55,000.00 To $65,000.00 Annually

We’re looking for a well-rounded marketer who brings strong organization, communication and project ownership, along with demonstrated strengths in one or more areas of marketing. Experience in tradeshow and event coordination, digital marketing, marketing automation, email marketing, content development, graphic design or web management is highly valued. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes initiative and can confidently move projects from planning through execution while collaborating across teams.

The Marketing Coordinator plays a key role in bringing MAKR Group’s marketing initiatives to life across events, digital channels, campaigns and brand communications. Reporting to the Marketing Operations Manager, this highly organized, hands-on role coordinates multiple projects across the MAKR Group of Companies, supporting everything from our growing tradeshow and event program to digital campaigns, content and marketing operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Support the planning, execution and tracking of integrated marketing initiatives across events, email, digital, social media, campaigns and content marketing
• Independently coordinate marketing and community events, including overseeing logistics, managing registrations, coordinating with vendors, creating itineraries, and ordering marketing collateral
• Coordinate product, event, or content email marketing campaigns, including copy, scheduling, testing, and database management
• Coordinate the planning and execution of MAKR brands at external events and trade shows
• Support the development and execution of visual communications, including collateral, brochures, catalogues, presentations and translations
• Support senior executives and key roles with high-profile presentations and execute within established brand standards and templates
• Create, proofread, and edit copy for various marketing channels, ensuring consistent voice
• Support content, communications and social media marketing initiatives across MAKR Group brands
• Manage relationships with external vendors to ensure high-quality and timely execution of marketing programs, and to ensure competitiveness
• Coordinate the delivery of the CEU programs and certifications

OTHER INFORMATION:

• This is a full-time,
  14-month term position.
• This is an on-site position based in Kelowna, BC (
  805 Crowley Ave, Kelowna, BC V1Y 7G6), working Monday to Friday on 8-hour shifts.

WHAT YOU BRING:

• 3-5 years marketing experience
• Experience in website management, previous experience with a CMS required
• Post-secondary diploma or degree in Marketing or Communications or similar field
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud is considered an asset.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

• Successful completion of a criminal record check is required as a condition of employment.
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
