2026 marks the 60th anniversary of One Sky Community Resources. As we reflect on the past and plan for the next decade and beyond, we are looking to strengthen our sustainability so future generations can benefit from the services we provide.
We have been supported by and have a close relationship with the One Sky Legacy Foundation which was established in 2006 to support the stewardship of resources accumulated over the first twenty years of our history. Now, we are looking to grow a stronger presence within our community and a culture of philanthropy within the organization, and our care holders, so we can maintain our current financial stability and support operational growth.

Established in 1966, as a charitable organization, One Sky has served the South Okanagan community providing services such as Early Childhood Services, Youth and Family Services, Community Health and Housing Services, Community Inclusion/Supportive Living Services, Senior Wellness Services, and some fee‑based services to meet emerging community needs.

Under the oversight of the Director, Fund Development, the Communications and Engagement Lead will support the promotion and presence of One Sky within community. The position is responsible for creating strategies, leading and developing external communications on various social media platforms.…
