**** POsition Purpose summary:
** The Salvation Army Christmas Kettle Campaign is part of a century old tradition to contribute towards building strong communities by helping TSA to give hope to other. Kettle Scheduler position is a short-term contract position. The successful candidate is responsible for oversight of several Christmas Kettle locations in a given geographical zone area. Zone locations include shopping malls, grocery stores and retail outlets.

* KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

**** Incumbent may perform all, some, or similar range of duties as below.
*** Must have a solid understanding of basic to intermediate computer operation including Microsoft 365 programs, data entry, internet browsers, and some file management and ability to create reports.
* Be a positive and outgoing representative of The Salvation Army Okanagan Central.  + Attend a day of training/orientation on The Salvation Army and the Christmas Kettle Campaign  + Provide support in getting Kettles to zone locations prior to volunteer arrival at Campaign onset  + Ensure all Kettle donations are delivered to secure location at shift completion.  + Communicate daily issues and supply deficiencies to Administrative and Internal Communications Manager  + Provide training to and the orientation of volunteers assuring proper Kettle handling and duties as required  + Schedule, supervise, support and assign Kettle Volunteers throughout the Campaign  + Participate in the recruitment of new volunteers  + Ensure timesheets and mileage reports are submitted accurately and timely (bi-weekly basis)  + Respond to questions/queries from volunteers and site hosts.
