Become a Clinical Practice Educator at Kelowna General Hospital, specializing in hemodialysis education. This full-time role champions person and family-centered care principles while fostering clinical excellence.
We are looking for an experienced Clinical Practice Educator to advance hemodialysis nursing practices. You will design educational programs, evaluate nursing competencies, and support staff through visible clinical support. Relevant nursing experience and hemodialysis certification are essential to succeed in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop innovative educational programs for nursing staff
• Assess and analyze nursing learning needs regularly
• Collaborate to enhance educational quality and practice
• Resolve clinical education issues effectively
• Integrate key nursing competencies into practice
Requirements:
• Valid Hemodialysis certification and substantial experience
• Strong background in nursing education strategies
• Excellent collaboration and engagement skills
• Focus on continuous improvement in nursing practices
• Work schedule Monday to Friday, 7:00 to 15:00
