The Employed Student Nurse (ESN) program is tailored for students enrolled in recognized Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing programs, ideally after their second or third year. You will receive practical training and support, enabling professional growth while working alongside seasoned healthcare professionals in settings such as acute care and mental health.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement nursing care in accordance with Interior Health practices

• Provide direct patient support and care under supervision

• Record patient data accurately and efficiently

• Work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team

• Complete all necessary training and certification requirements

Requirements:

• Current status as an Employed Student Registrant with BCCNM

• Completion of 2 or 3 years in a BSN/RPN program

• Valid certification in BLS or First Aid with CPR

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Open to learning and developing clinical skills
