This position is for an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse to provide nursing care in a long-term care setting. You will perform patient assessments, deliver personal care, and work alongside a dedicated team. The role involves permanent full-time hours that rotate between days and nights, fostering a supportive and inclusive team culture.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and implement personalized nursing care strategies
• Administer oral and injectable medications safely
• Engage with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Follow BCCNM practice standards and unit-specific protocols
• Advocate for resident autonomy and quality of life
Requirements:
• Valid LPN registration with BCCNM
• Preferably experienced in long-term care
• Proficient in medication administration techniques
• Willingness to work rotating night and day shifts
