Location: Penticton
Join Interior Health as a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse at Penticton Regional Hospital, specializing in patient care and medication administration. This role involves rotating shifts for optimal work-life balance.
Interior Health is seeking an experienced LPN for the Level 6 Medical Floor at Penticton Regional Hospital. In this position, you'll collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team for patient assessments and care planning.
Your role will also involve administering medications and adhering to competency guidelines set by BCCNM.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver nursing assessments and care planning for patients
• Administer oral, subcutaneous, and intramuscular medications
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team for optimal care
• Operate under BCCNM guidelines and organizational protocols
• Provide support in a new 28-bed medical unit specializing in dialysis
Requirements:
• Graduate from a recognized Practical Nurse program
• Current full-practicing licensure with BCCNM
• Hold a current CPR certification
• Experience in acute-care settings preferred
• Proven ability to work rotating shifts to meet patient needs
