This role requires strong clinical skills and a minimum of two years of recent Emergency Department experience. You will be an integral part of a team managing trauma and medical emergencies, performing rapid triage assessments, and executing stabilization protocols. Familiarity with CTAS and advanced life support certifications will enhance your candidacy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate nursing care and direct patient management
• Execute rapid assessments using CTAS methodology
• Collaborate with teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Administer IV and other medications following protocols
• Ensure compliance with NSHA policies and documentation
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience
• Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing
• Basic Life Support — Level C certification
• Active registration with Nova Scotia College of Nursing
• Legal right to work in Canada
