As a Registered Nurse, you will provide crucial oversight and leadership within the Specialized Geriatric Program. Your responsibilities include assessing client needs, coordinating patient care, and ensuring active participation from clients and families. This position emphasizes continuous evaluation of care effectiveness, alongside collaborative efforts with a dedicated healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess physiological, psychological, and cultural client needs
• Lead the implementation of healthcare interventions
• Foster client participation in care planning
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals
• Review and integrate health data into care plans
Requirements:
• Valid Registered Nurse license in British Columbia
• Prior experience in geriatrics is preferred
• Strong assessment and leadership skills
• Willingness to advance clinical competence
• Adaptability to a casual work schedule with rotating shifts
