Join Oliver Health Centre as a Primary Health Care Registered Nurse, focusing on Rural and Remote Adult Mental Health and Substance Use. This casual position offers flexible shifts across four primary care clinics.
As a Primary Health Care Registered Nurse, you will engage in an interprofessional team environment, providing coordinated care in various settings. You’ll support diverse populations, applying a trauma-informed approach to health promotion, disease prevention, and chronic condition management.
Your role will emphasize culturally safe practices and community empowerment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide client-centered nursing care based on needs
• Collaborate in interdisciplinary team-based settings
• Conduct assessments, triage, and care planning
• Deliver health education and prevention strategies
• Navigate patients through the healthcare system
Requirements:
• Current BCCNM registration as a Registered Nurse
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• CPR and Basic Life Support certification
• Valid BC Driver’s License for travel
• Specialized training may be needed for certain clinics
