Interior Health seeks an experienced Public Health Registered Nurse to enhance the well-being of the communities in Osoyoos. As part of the Public Health Services team, your role involves providing essential nursing services and promoting health strategies that cater to various population groups. You will focus on educating and enabling families to adopt healthier behaviors through targeted interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Offer nursing services in homes, schools, and outreach locations
• Support health promotion initiatives through education
• Advocate for community health improvements through targeted programs
• Conduct health assessments and interventions for populations at risk
• Collaborate with public health teams to strategize health services
Requirements:
• Graduate from an approved nursing program
• BCCNM active registration for nursing practice
• Minimum six months public health nursing experience
• Current valid BC Driver’s License for travel
• Flexibility for casual shifts, Monday to Friday
