Emergency Department Registered Nurse

Interior Health is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to provide exceptional emergency care. As part of this relief full-time position, you will engage with an interdisciplinary team to ensure effective client-centered care in the expanding Kelowna General Hospital's newly renovated ER department. This role emphasizes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs, aligning with your nursing expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess clients' health care needs in a fast-paced environment

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team for comprehensive care

• Implement client-centered care programs tailored to individual patients

• Evaluate and adjust care plans based on patient responses

• Utilize specialized knowledge to inform and enhance nursing practice

Requirements:

• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing

• Current registration with BCCNM

• Advanced training in emergency nursing

• CPR and BCLS certification within last 3 years

• Flexible to work night shifts, including varying hours
