Penticton Regional Hospital seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse for their Hemodialysis team through Interior Health. This relief part-time role emphasizes vital nursing care.
As an LPN, you will deliver nursing services to hemodialysis patients throughout their treatment journey. Supports include comprehensive planning, implementation, and adherence to best practices as defined by the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess patient conditions and needs effectively
• Implement specialized nursing care for hemodialysis
• Follow BCCNM standards and guidelines precisely
• Provide practical support during all dialysis stages
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records
Requirements:
• Completion of a recognized Practical Nurse program
• Successfully finished Health Authority Hemodialysis Training
• Recent experience in acute care nursing (1 year)
• Full BCCNM licensure and CPR certification
• Flexible for rotating shifts between 7:00 and 19:00
