Join Good Samaritan Village By The Station as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Penticton, BC, offering part-time employment focused on delivering exceptional resident care. Engage in daily living activities and comprehensive nursing duties.
As a key member of the nursing team, you will provide compassionate care to residents with multi-faceted needs.
Your role will encompass reporting on daily living activities and collaborating closely with team members. Your ability to manage high-stress situations and maintain effective communication will be vital.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform safe, quality resident care daily
• Document activities of daily living diligently
• Support nursing duties as directed by Care Manager
• Foster strong relationships with residents and families
• Utilize computer skills for record-keeping
Requirements:
• Current Licensure as a Practical Nurse
• Valid CPR and First Aid certification
• Experience with elderly or disabled individuals preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork mindset
• Recent Criminal Records Check and tuberculosis screening
