Shape the future of senior care as a part-time Educator at Good Samaritan Canada Village in Penticton, BC. Provide essential training to staff and enhance caregiving competencies.
This role is ideal for licensed practical nurses with 3-5 years of experience in adult education and working with the frail elderly. You will support staff through coaching and skills updates while developing educational materials that meet Provincial standards. Your leadership will ensure staff are prepared for changes in healthcare and provide ethical care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare caregivers for varied care settings
• Develop and revise training materials as needed
• Coach and support staff in clinical practices
• Maintain strong relationships and improve team dynamics
• Facilitate ongoing learning amidst healthcare changes
Requirements:
• Current registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse
• 3-5 years working with the frail elderly
• 3-5 years of adult education experience
• Clear Criminal Records Check and clearance letter
• Tuberculosis screening completed within the last 12 months
