Elevate your nursing career at Penticton Regional Hospital as a Clinical Practice Educator for the Hemodialysis Emergency Support Team. Lead emergency dialysis services and foster renal care delivery while working with a specialized team.
This full-time relief position requires a Nephrology Certificate and offers a unique opportunity to support hemodialysis care in emergencies. You'll provide clinical expertise, educational leadership, and support to nurses and interdisciplinary teams. Join a provincial emergency response team aimed at enhancing kidney care through evidence-based practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide clinical education in hemodialysis and renal care
• Support the Hemodialysis Emergency Support Team
• Offer clinical resources and guidance to nursing staff
• Assess clinical skills and oversee quality assurance
• Participate in direct patient care as needed
Requirements:
• Current RN registration with BCCNM
• Advanced nephrology nursing certificate
• Three years clinical experience in hemodialysis
• Two years experience in teaching or curriculum development
• CPR certification and valid BC Driver's License
Lead with clinical expertise and enhance renal care for patients in emergencies at Penticton Regional Hospital.
