Licensed Practical Nurse Opportunity

Support seniors' wellbeing as a Licensed Practical Nurse with Optima Living in Kelowna, British Columbia. Focus on compassionate care while engaging with residents and their families.

This role, which reports to the Director of Care, involves partnering with the nursing team to enhance resident care quality. You will play a vital role in assessing patient needs, managing medications, and documenting health information accurately. A strong commitment to dignity and individualized care is central to the position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in creating and updating care plans

• Administer medical treatments and resident education

• Document resident health and care accurately

• Provide support during transitions and end-of-life care

• Mentor and guide Health Care Aides in best practices

Requirements:

• Must possess valid nursing licensure in BC

• Graduate of an approved nursing school

• Experience in supportive living or mental health preferred

• Must have current CPR and First Aid certification

• Effective organizational and communication skills
