We are hiring Operating Room Registered Nurses l's Hospital, who thrive in a fast-paced environment and play a critical role in life-changing surgical care!
As a Staff Nurs e , you'll be at the forefront of patient care, working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team to ensure patients/residents receive comprehensive support.
Your responsibilities will include:
Assess patients' physical, social, spiritual, and psychological needs.
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
Incorporate teaching into care plans to educate patients and families.
Make referrals to resources as needed.
Support fellow healthcare professionals.
Operate within the framework of Providence Health Care's mission, vision, and values.
Minimum Nurse-to-Patient Ratio  Minimum Nurse-to-Patient Ratios (mNPR) set the minimum number of nurses required to safely care for patients on a given unit. Developed in partnership with the Ministry of Health, the BC Nurses' Union (BCNU), and health organizations across British Columbia, mNPR provides a consistent and transparent approach to staffing that supports safe nursing practice and high-quality patient care. What You Bring   Education :
You must be a registered nurse in Canada in good standing and be eligible for registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
Completion of a post graduate operating room course, or two years’ recent experience in an equivalent setting

Skills and Abilities:

Demonstrated competence in performing CPR procedures.
Experience in teamwork, decision-making and conflict resolution
Demonstrated a teaching aptitude
Proficient in clinical leadership.
A strong desire to expand your professional skills and a commitment to lifelong learning in the nursing field.

Competitive pay:  $41.42 to $55.91 CAD per hour, depending on experience.
