Interior Health invites applications for a Licensed Practical Nurse position at Cottonwoods Extended Care in Kelowna, BC. This flexible part-time role focuses on delivering exceptional patient care in a team-oriented environment.
As a crucial member of the Long-term Care team, you will assess patient needs, administer medications, and engage with an interdisciplinary health team. This role requires adherence to BCCNM competencies and organizational policies. Shifts will involve night rotations from 23:00 to 07:00.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess patient conditions and develop nursing care plans
• Administer medications according to guidelines
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient safety
• Operate in alignment with BCCNM competency guidelines
• Ensure quality nursing care in a dynamic setting
Requirements:
• Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing program
• Current full practicing license from BCCNM
• Valid CPR certification
