This casual Nurse Practitioner position offers the chance to support Primary Care in rural areas. Provide essential temporary coverage and enhance community health during absences.
Ideal for licensed Practicing Nurse Practitioners with Primary Care background, this role involves working from the Professional Practice Office but deploying to rural sites as needed. Shifts usually take place from Monday to Friday, with potential weekend shifts and on-call responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose conditions and create treatment strategies
• Monitor patient care and order necessary tests
• Establish effective communication with patients
• Collaborate with medical staff for comprehensive care
• Lead nursing initiatives and provide guidance
Requirements:
• Must hold a current BCCNM license
• Previous experience in Primary Care necessary
• Excellent communication and leadership traits
• Comfort working in isolated healthcare settings
• Willingness to be on-call
