About the JobAs a Mental Health RN/RPN, you will provide nursing care to psychiatric patients, work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team, enhance the quality of life for patients and families, consult with other health‑care providers, and demonstrate continuous improvement and evidence‑based practice.
- Provide nursing care to psychiatric patients independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Enhance patient and family quality of life; consult, confer, and collaborate with other health‑care providers.
- Demonstrate continuous improvement and evidence‑based practice.
- Maintain and advance own clinical competence.
- Participate in designated hospital committees/teams and approved research projects as assigned.
Typical schedules are based on 12‑hour shifts, including days and nights with rotating days off.
