- Days: 0630 – 1830
- Evenings: 1830 – 2330
- Nights: 1830 – 0630
- Starting wage: $39.33per hour
- Wage increases at 1500hours worked
- Additional increase sat 2500, 5000, 7500, and 10,000 hours worked

Opened in2021, The Vineyards Residence is a state-of-the-art five-storey, 134-suite residence offering Enhanced Assisted Living and Memory Care services to the Okanagan region.
Our residence is designed around small neighbourhoods of 16–17 suites, creating acomfortable home-like environment where residents build meaningful relationships with their caregivers and neighbours.
This neighbourhood model allows our team to provide personalized, resident-centered care while fostering familiarity, comfort, and connection.
Position Summary:The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct resident care, medication administration, and clinical support within our neighbourhood care model.
Casual LPNs support the care teams across day, evening, and night shifts while ensuring residents receive safe, compassionate, and high-quality care. Thisrole works collaboratively with care aides, fellow nurses, and leadership tosupport resident wellbeing and maintain clinical standards.
Key Responsibilities Resident Care:- Administer medications safely and accurately
- Monitor resident health status andreport changes appropriately
- Encourage residents to maintain independence whenever possible
- Ensure residents receive appropriately nutrition and hydration
- Provide leadership and direction to care aides during shifts
- Delegate tasks appropriately and support team collaboration
- Assist with staffing coordination when required
- Complete electronic documentation accurately and in a timely manner
- Ensure resident careneeds and outcomes are properly recorded
- Communicate resident updates to team members and leadership
- Provide companionship and meaningful interaction with residents
- Support residents in maintaining a sense of purpose and belonging
- Promote a positive and respectful environment for residents and families
- Follow safety protocols for residents and team members
- Support infection prevention and control practices
- Identify and report safety concerns or clinical risks
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) registration with BCCNP in good standing
- Criminal Record Check – Vulnerable Sector
- Current First Aid / CPR Certification
- WHMIS Certification
- Experience supporting residents with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease preferred
- Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing Program
- Equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience may be considered
