This part-time position allows RNs to utilize their expertise in a dynamic teaching environment, focusing on the Regional Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing program. Instructors will supervise students in medical/surgical settings and lead hands-on labs to enhance essential nursing skills. The role offers flexibility with self-scheduling based on the program's clinical needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide regulatory supervision during clinical practice
• Mentor and support nursing students with patient care
• Facilitate hands-on learning in lab environments
• Collaborate with Clinical Practice team for support
• Ensure high standards of clinical education delivery
Requirements:
• Active Registered Nurse registration with BCCNM
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required
• Minimum three years of nursing experience
• 140 hours recent acute medical or surgical experience
• Leadership or educator experience is an asset
