Provide person-centred senior care as a Temporary Licensed Practical Nurse at Baptist Housing in West Kelowna, primarily working overnight shifts.
At Village at Smith Creek, you will support residents through assessments, medication administration, individualized care plans, and wellness programs. Collaborate with Registered Nurses on comprehensive care and complex cases. Maintain accurate records using Point-Click Care and EMAR while promoting health and safety practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Registered Nurses on comprehensive resident care
Administer medications and conduct resident assessments
Create individualized care plans for residents
Promote physical and emotional wellness through programs
Maintain accurate records using Point-Click Care and EMAR
Requirements:
Graduate of a recognized school of nursing
Current registration in good standing with BCCNM
Licensed Practical Nursing Diploma or Registered Nurse designation
Long-term care or assisted living experience preferred
Availability for consistent weekend shifts
Bring compassionate communication, medication knowledge, and collaborative care skills to Baptist Housing residents during overnight service.
