CIMA+ seeks a seasoned professional to provide oversight in quality assurance for major T&D projects. With at least eight years of industry experience, you'll manage the assessment of equipment suppliers, ensuring adherence to quality standards throughout all phases: procurement, manufacturing, and commissioning. Collaboration with engineers is key in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead comprehensive quality assurance for high-voltage equipment
• Review and set quality metrics for suppliers and installations
• Inspect equipment to ensure compliance and reliability
• Document and manage any quality discrepancies
• Maintain thorough records supporting project turnover
Requirements:
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline
• 8+ years in high-voltage T&D quality assurance
• Professional Engineer registration or eligibility in BC
• Experience with relevant equipment and manufacturing
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
