Fieldwork is an integral part of this role, including potential travel for research purposes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage fire modelling and climate analysis projects
• Analyze remote sensing and landscape data
• Develop machine learning techniques for fire predictions
• Draft reports, figures, and publications
• Mentor and train lab personnel and students
Requirements:
• PhD in wildfire science or related areas
• Established experience with fire behaviour models
• Knowledge of climate modelling and downscaling
