Play a key role in social research as an Undergraduate Academic Assistant age in qualitative and quantitative analysis to assess the roots of violence.
The UBCO Faculty of Health and Social Development is looking for an Undergraduate Academic Assistant to support research under Dr. Edward Taylor. You will conduct in-depth literature searches, collaborate with peers, and analyze data within a socio-cultural context. This position not only involves research but also contributing to scholarly publications in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute complex library and media searches
• Analyze collected data and identify core themes
• Summarize and present research findings
• Actively participate in collaborative research writing
• Engage in regular team discussions for project advancement
Requirements:
• Must be a second, third, or fourth-year undergraduate
• Strong academic standing required
• Experience with social media and literature reviews
• Proficiency in database and spreadsheet applications preferred
• Strong writing and comprehension skills needed
