As a member of the MEC team, you'll help customers explore our vast selection of outdoor equipment for hiking, cycling, and more. This role encourages proactive engagement with members, sharing insights on products while also supporting store operations. Your natural curiosity about gear will thrive in a collaborative retail environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Interact with members to provide tailored product advice
• Assist in merchandising and store upkeep
• Organize inventory and streamline product access
• Advocate for MEC events and outdoor initiatives
• Continuously learn about new products and gear features
Requirements:
• Strong interest in outdoor activities and related products
• Customer-focused mentality and teamwork capabilities
• Ability to lift 50 lb. and walk long distances
• Flexible availability, especially on weekends
• Retail or customer service experience preferred
