Responsibilities
Typical Workday
With the support of your manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the store runs smoothly and that your team provides exceptional customer service. As acting manager, your tasks include meeting overall goals, maintaining corporate standards, and motivating your team to excel.
Sales
Optimize performance and profitability of the store
Train team members on sales techniques and product features
Analyze sales results with manager and develop solutions to improve them
Schedule employees to manage payroll cost‑effectively
Communicate sales goals to the team
Provide warm welcome and product assistance to customers
Coordinate tasks with management team in their absence
Human Resources
Mobilize team and create a positive work environment
Bring vision, mission, and brand culture to life and share with team
Act as inspiring role model and demonstrate leadership
Recruit, prepare, and train next generation of employees; source best candidates
Plan work schedules and manage absences/lateness
Participate in performance evaluations for the entire store team
Schedule team members based on performance and store traffic
Marketing & Visual Presentation
Master product knowledge and technical features
Create attractive, inviting store based on planograms
Monitor market trends and competitor activities
Build loyal customer base through brand image and relationships
Plan incoming orders and set up visual displays efficiently
Maintain store look and cleanliness
Collaborate with mall administration
Administration
Analyze reports to optimize productivity and sales
Open and close the store
Manage controllable expenses efficiently
Respect and apply policies and procedures of head office departments
Perform other duties to support the team
Permanent, full time
Annual salary: $41,600 – $46,800
