Location: Summerland
Bring your passion for wine to Okanagan Crush Pad as a Full Time Wine Educator in Summerland, BC. This role includes weekend and evening responsibilities and focuses on delivering exceptional customer service.
The position requires an enthusiastic individual who can multitask efficiently while creating memorable wine experiences for guests at Haywire winery and Garnet Valley Ranch. Candidates should have experience in high-volume service environments, alongside excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Weekend availability is essential for this seasonal opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Welcome guests and create memorable wine experiences
• Promote sales in the Tasting Lounge for repeat customers
• Handle retail transactions and daily sales accounting
• Respond to phone and email inquiries promptly
• Book group tastings and coordinate reservations
Requirements:
• Passion for Okanagan wine with WSET or similar
• Experience in hospitality service at a lounge
• Able to lift 35lbs and stand for long periods
• Food Safe Certificate and Serving It Right required
• Familiarity with Commerce 7 & Tock is a plus
