Job Description
Responsible for superior service goals of the department
Greets customers in a polite and friendly manner
Creates, decorates, and personalizes specialty bakery products
Ensures standards of department presentation and operations are met, including cleanliness and sanitation, inventory control, rotation, quality, ordering, variety standards, signing, seasonal schematic, and proper backroom procedures
Ensures the department delivers the highest quality of product available for customers
Monitors to ensure variety standards are followed, and 100% compliance on ad item display
Job Requirements
Cake Decorating experience is an asset
Ability to learn quickly
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
Highly motivated and team oriented
Strong communication skills in both oral and written form
Strong customer service qualities
Works in a safe and responsible manner
Available to work flexible hours
Evening and weekend availability is strongly encouraged
Must be available to be scheduled anytime on Sunday (Alberta Only)
Physical Requirements
Frequent lifting of up to 10 pounds
Constant hand coordination, reaching, gripping
Frequent standing, walking, bending
Occasional lifting or carrying of 10-45 lbs, including waist‑level and low‑level lifts
Occasional climbing (step ladder, stairs), squatting, pushing or pulling
