The Warehouse Associate is a detail-oriented and conscientious individual who works hard and has high standards. They are a team player who executes their tasks quickly and accurately.
You are a vital part of the team that makes Springfield Bulk Foods a great place to shop. You help to ensure that our customers have the products they need when they come into the store. You are also an important team player who is always ready to assist our front of house sales staff with any orders/requests they receive from customers.
Key Responsibilities- Bagging Product
- Unloading Pallets
- Organizing Warehouse Inventory
- Filling Bulk Bins
- Filling Customer Orders
- Cleaning the warehouse
- Forklift certification is considered an asset
- Must be comfortable standing/walking for up to 8 hours per shift
- Must be able to repeatedly lift and move products weighing 60 lbs
- Comfortable unloading pallets and stocking warehouse inventory
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Bagging Product
- Follow warehouse and bagging processes to fill bagged product for customers
- Follow all cleaning and safety processes
- Unload pallet deliveries safely and efficiently while checking invoices against delivered products to ensure all items are accounted for
- Report missing, damaged, or incorrect inventory to management
- Move product from pallets onto carts for stocking
- Organize and stock warehouse as needed
- Refill bulk bins and gravity bins at front of store as needed
- Take direction from manager and assistant manager regarding daily priorities and tasks
- Adapt to changing daily tasks in a rapid pace environment
- Primarily responsible for weekly cleaning of the stock room and store area
- Using the shop vac, thoroughly vacuum bagging area
- Ensure bagging tables are cleaned and sanitized everyday
- Vacuum under product shelves in the warehouse
- Using the wide push broom, sweep the entire warehouse
- Dust Warehouse shelves
- Take out garbage and recycling at the end of day
- Wash / Sanitize / Dry Back of House scoops and bins
