Overview

Kelowna Fruit Stand is a family-owned and operated business dedicated to bringing the very best of the Okanagan to our community. We serve fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables, and operate a café offering coffee, ice cream, sandwiches, baked goods, and Indian cuisine.

We are currently looking for a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team for the summer, with the possibility of extending into September and October.

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with questions about products and services
• Process purchases accurately using the point-of-sale system
• Handle cash, debit, and credit transactions accurately
• Resolve customer concerns and complaints professionally
• Restock merchandise and help maintain attractive displays
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and well-stocked
• Assist with opening and closing duties as required
• Balance cash registers and complete end-of-shift procedures

• Previous customer service or cashier experience is an asset, but not required
• Robust communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs

Job Type: Full time / Part-time / Seasonal

Schedule:

Day shifts, Weekends as needed, Holidays as needed

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Shift: 8 hour shift
