This Sales Associate supports the Thrift Store Manager across the entire facility and property. Responsibilities include courteous customer service, accurate transactions, donation processing, merchandise displays, and volunteer support. The position also requires maintaining cleanliness, safety, and organized work areas while meeting assigned daily targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide positive and courteous service to customers
Process cash and debit or credit transactions accurately
Receive, sort, store, price, and process donations
Arrange merchandise displays and keep sales areas tidy
Work with volunteers and prepare clear workstations
Requirements:
Ability to communicate cordially with staff, volunteers, donors, and customers
Ability to stand, bend, reach, push, pull, and lift
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
Attention to detail, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Strong integrity, confidentiality, ethics, fairness, and flexibility
