Fairstone Bank seeks a Loan Consultant skilled in sales and customer service to recommend financial solutions and manage applications from start to closing.
This Loan Consultant role supports customers through loan and protection product sales. You will assess needs, recommend suitable financial solutions, and manage applications in person or virtually. The position also includes credit assessments, payment processing, overdue account management, relationship building, and performance against individual and team sales goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Promote and sell loan and protection products
- Understand customer needs and recommend financial solutions
- Manage applications through closing, in person or virtually
- Build relationships through excellent customer service
- Perform credit assessments and manage overdue accounts
- High school diploma required
- Post-secondary finance, sales, or business education is an asset
- At least one year of sales or target-focused customer service experience
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
- Customer-first mindset and passion for delivering value
