This role requires strong observation skills, professionalism, and the ability to respond effectively to a variety of situations.

Patrol assigned sites and monitor for safety and security risksControl access points and verify identificationMonitor CCTV, alarms, and security systemsRespond to incidents, emergencies, and service callsEnforce site rules and company policiesProvide excellent customer service and assistanceWrite clear and accurate incident and shift reportsLiaise with supervisors, clients, and emergency servicesQualifications
Valid BC Security LicenceValid Basic First Aid is an assetBC Class 5 driver’s licenseReliable transportation (site-dependent)Strong communication and report-writing skillsAbility to remain calm and professional under pressureAbility to work various shifts (days, nights, weekends, holidays)Previous security or customer service experienceExperience with patrols, access control, and CCTV systems
