Commissionaires BC is looking for a reliable, professional, and responsive Mobile Security Guard to service multiple client services. This roles requires the safe operations of a patrol vehicle, strong observations kills, and the ability to respond effectively to alarms incidents, and client requests. The selected candidate is expected to maintain a high standard of professionalism, accountability, and work ethic while working independently in a dynamic environment.
Rotations- Mon - Fri 2200 - 0600
Pay rate: $22.00 / hour
Must have valid Class 5 BC Driver's License
Must-Haves- Hold a valid BC Security License
- Hold a valid Class 5 BC Driver’s license
- Have a clean driver’s abstract
- Fluent English; excellent written and verbal skills
- Positive attitude with professional demeanor and strong interpersonal/customer service skills
- Excellent attention to detail to fulfill job duties and incident report writing
- Excellent problem solving skills and ability to handle emergency situations in a calm and professional manner
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in varying situations
- Basic to intermediate computer skills
- Experience in a similar role
- Basic First Aid (Occupational First Aid Level
1) - Ability to obtain and maintain security clearances
- Safely operating a Mobile Patrol motor vehicle in accordance with all laws and regulations;
- Conducting security checks at client sites according to directives, standards and post orders;
- Utilize company cell phones and Tracktik phone app;
- Conducting alarm response to client sites as needed
- Conducting House Watch patrol if necessary;
- Attending lone worker sites to check on workers when requested;
- Ensuring incident and shift reports are completed including Run Sheets, Vehicle Inspection reports, Tracktik reports, Alarm reports and Inventory reports;
- Reporting for shifts on time, and maintaining proper dress and deportment at all times;
- Reporting any unsafe incidents, practices and/or issues;
- Conducting vehicle checks at start of shifts and ensuring any issues are reported accurately;
- Being respectful towards tools/equipment and ensuring proper key control at all times;
- Ensuring vehicles are kept clean and washed as required;
- Maintaining high standard of work ethic and professionalism;
- Promoting a respectful workplace by displaying a courteous, professional attitude;
- Keeping management aware of any unusual incidents;
