Pathway of Hope Caseworker

Make a difference in the community as a Pathway of Hope Caseworker with The Salvation Army. This role focuses on providing casework services and builds relationships to foster participant growth.

As a vital member of the Okanagan Central team, you'll engage participants at two Community Services locations in Kelowna and Westbank. Supporting individuals navigating challenges, you will offer collaborative casework services and holistic support, addressing their goals through a relational approach. Your work will empower participants and support the integration of ministry services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct intake, assessment, and follow-up for participants

• Network with service providers for comprehensive support

• Facilitate community linkages and referrals

• Engage with participants in person or remotely for accessibility

• Maintain detailed case records and service statistics

Requirements:

• Two years experience in casework services

• Community College Diploma in human services

• Knowledge of community resources and networking skills

• Strong communication and organizational abilities

• Valid Ontario Class “G” driver's license
