As a Community Support Navigator, you will play a crucial role in connecting individuals with essential services. Your focus on relationship building involves creating safety and case plans while responding promptly to emergencies. Offering emotional support through both virtual and in-person sessions, your expertise in managing crises will help guide participants towards living free from abuse.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage a participant caseload with supportive relationships
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and safety assessments
• Deliver case and goal planning tailored to participants
• Collaborate with community resources for holistic support
• Conduct awareness presentations about abuse and services
Requirements:
• Diploma in Human Services or related field
• Minimum 2 years related experience in social services
• ASIST training for crisis intervention
• Knowledge of response-based practice
• Satisfactory criminal record check
Utilize your skills in crisis management and community resources to support those impacted by domestic violence in Kelowna.
