In this position at Penny Lane, you will work closely with mental health professionals to assess and evaluate the needs of youth. Your responsibilities will include teaching social skills, monitoring safety, and providing crisis intervention. By collaborating with a dedicated team, you will help create a supportive setting for youth stabilization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in assessment and goal-setting for clients
• Teach socially appropriate behaviors through daily activities
• Monitor client safety and wellbeing in a residential setting
• Provide one-on-one behavioral management counseling
• Offer emotional support and crisis intervention
Requirements:
• Diploma in human/social services or equivalent experience
• Two years of relevant work experience
• Class 5 driver’s license
• Successful completion of background checks
• Availability for on-call rotations
