Enhance youth and family well-being as an Upstream Case Manager at BGC Okanagan in Kelowna, BC. This role entails proactive identification of barriers through collaborative support.
This temporary position lasts from July 2, 2026, to September 30, 2026, focusing on early intervention strategies to prevent youth homelessness. You will create family-centered plans, conduct sessions, and evaluate ongoing progress to ensure effective outcomes. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are a must.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct interviews and observe behaviors to gather youth data
• Develop short-term intervention strategies with families
• Facilitate group and individual sessions to address needs
• Navigate community resources for comprehensive support
• Document and report on service delivery and outcomes
Requirements:
• Diploma in a related social service field
• At least one year of direct experience required
• Successful completion of background checks
• Commitment to inclusive employment practices
• Availability for occasional mandatory training
