In this full-time role, you'll work to connect marginalized individuals with the housing and care they need. As an Outreach Worker, you will often engage with clients in crisis and collaborate with service agencies. Your compassionate approach will help foster hope and change for those facing homelessness in Kelowna.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan outreach initiatives to assist unsheltered individuals
• Schedule and train practicum students and volunteers
• Facilitate Outreach van routes as assigned
• Collaborate with community stakeholders and service providers
• Maintain accurate outreach client records and data
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 months frontline experience with mental health challenges
• Completion of High School Diploma
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Valid Class 5 driver's license and clean driving abstract
• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly
Utilize your skills to support vulnerable populations and promote dignity in the Kelowna community.
