Community Support Worker West

Contribute to the well-being of participants as a Community Support Worker with Prima Enterprises Ltd. in West Kelowna. This role involves direct, client-led support and healthy living environment maintenance.

Prima Enterprises Ltd. is hiring for a 72-hour bi-weekly and casual position. Candidates will work closely with participants using trauma-informed practices and client-centered goal-setting. Key skills include behavior management, effective communication, and the ability to support individuals facing complex challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist participants in maintaining a clean living space

• Foster life skills and facilitate community access

• Administer medications and maintain accurate documentation

• Develop and implement routines for independence

• Prepare meals and plan healthy menus

Requirements:

• Valid First Aid/CPR/AED certification

• Diploma in community support worker/human services

• Minimum 2 years in a related field

• Clear criminal record check for vulnerable populations

• Valid BC Class 5 driver's license
