Working with Baptist Housing, you will focus on the psychosocial aspects of care, providing counselling and advocacy tailored to residents' needs. This role, typically requiring 15 hours across two days, champions a wellness-oriented environment for all. Your expertise will facilitate seamless transitions for residents and enhance their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and address resident psychosocial needs

• Provide adjustment counselling and crisis support

• Support families during transitions and service planning

• Engage in resident councils and educational sessions

• Collaborate with community agencies for comprehensive care

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work required

• Registered in good standing with the BC College of Social Workers

• Minimum one year of relevant experience

• Understanding of gerontology and seniors' needs

• Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities
