Full-Time Client Support Worker

Provide critical support in a full-time role as a Client Support Worker at AG Safe House in Kelowna. Deliver emotional support, crisis intervention, and resource navigation to women facing crises.

As a Client Support Worker at AG Safe House, you will provide direct assistance to women, youth, and children transitioning from crisis situations. You'll utilize trauma-informed and harm reduction approaches while focusing on life skills development and housing stability. We seek compassionate candidates who adapt well to a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with a respectful and inclusive approach

• Provide emotional support and crisis intervention as needed

• Develop individualized support plans with residents

• Offer referrals to community resources and help with housing

• Conduct regular check-ins to ensure housing stability

Requirements:

• Diploma in Social Services or related field

• Experience in crisis intervention and social services

• Strong understanding of homelessness and substance use

• Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills

• Certifications in First Aid and Naloxone training preferred
