In this position, you will engage with individuals facing complex mental health and behavioral challenges.
Your role will include implementing person-centered plans while promoting independence and integration within the community. This opportunity offers valuable experience in a supportive environment, with operational hours typically between Monday and Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide one-on-one support to adults in diverse communities
• Implement individualized plans that focus on skill development
• Encourage participation in meaningful community activities
• Navigate unpredictable situations while maintaining professionalism
• Collaborate within multi-disciplinary teams
Requirements:
• Experience supporting individuals with mental health challenges
• Strong understanding of trauma-informed practices
• Minimum 1-year experience in a related field
• Class 5 BC Driver’s License and clean driving record
• Able to communicate effectively with clients and families
