Enhance independence and quality of life for individuals with disabilities at One Sky Community Resources in Penticton. As a Community Resource Worker, you'll empower participants through daily life skills and community engagement.

This temporary full-time union position requires participating in assessments and goal setting. You will develop personalized service plans, assist with daily living skills, and facilitate social and recreational activities.

Your role will directly impact participants' independence and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and plan participant goals collaboratively

• Teach essential daily living skills and social skills

• Facilitate recreational and educational activities

• Evaluate progress and adjust programs as needed

• Transport participants to various activities

Requirements:

• Certificate in social services or equivalent experience

• Class 5 Driver's License;
Class 4 preferred

• Current First Aid and CPR certifications

• Clear Criminal Record Check

• Safety Care Training or equivalents
