Impact lives as a Recreation Aide at Mariposa Gardens in Osoyoos, British Columbia. This casual role focuses on senior engagement and promoting social activities within the community.
Become part of Sienna Senior Living’s dedicated team. As a Recreation Aide, you will implement and adapt programs while facilitating resident interactions to enrich their daily experiences. Your primary focus is to foster connections among seniors and assist them in participating meaningfully in community activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and revise recreational programs under supervision
• Assist in transporting residents to and from activities
• Monitor resident interests and progress in programs
• Maintain accurate program and resident records
• Promote social engagement through leading activities
Requirements:
• First Aid certification required
• Diploma in recreation or equivalent experience
• Experience working with seniors preferred
• Strong understanding of leisure principles
• Valid driver’s license and computer skills
