We are looking for a dedicated Frontline Support Worker committed to making a difference in the lives of those impacted by domestic violence. In this position, you will engage directly with women and children, providing crisis intervention, advocacy, and a safe space for emotional recovery within our Transition House. Through your efforts, you’ll not only deliver essential services but also build a supportive community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Respond to crisis calls and provide timely assistance
• Conduct assessments and develop safety plans
• Oversee the comfort and security of residents
• Maintain cleanliness and manage household tasks
• Collaborate with external agencies on case needs
Requirements:
• Diploma in a relevant field with recent experience
• Intermediate First Aid certification necessary
• Background check required
• Union membership is a must
