Engage with Central Okanagan Public Schools as a Speech Pathologist in the vibrant communities of Kelowna and beyond.
Your role will be pivotal in supporting students with communication disorders through innovative programming.
This position requires a Master’s Degree, registration from CHCPBC, and a passion for improving children's communication skills. You will assess, design, and implement supportive programs for various communication challenges while working collaboratively with educators and support staff. Your work will aid students, many of whom identify as First Nations, Metis, and Inuit, in achieving their academic and social goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct assessments for communication disorders
• Provide support in IEP development and implementation
• Work with diverse teams to create effective learning plans
• Utilize technology for monitoring and communication
• Align with school and district educational objectives
Requirements:
• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active registration with CHCPBC
• Experience in classroom collaborations
• Skills to effectively use educational technologies
• Team-oriented mindset with a focus on inclusivity
